  • Characterised by 
    • Pain and tenderness over lateral epicondyle 
    • Pain on dorsiflexion of wrist 

Golfer’s elbow 
  • Medial epicondylitis 
  • Characterised by 
    • Pain and tenderness over medial epicondyle 
    • Pain on wrist flexion and elbow pronation 

Treatment 
  • NSAIDs – topical or oral 
  • Physiotherapry
  • Corticosteroid injections – conflicting evidence as to efficacy
