Drug-induced lupus

Drug-induced lupus produces symptoms similar to a mild form of SLE. 

Comparison of drug-induced lupus and SLE:

Drugs known to cause drug-induced lupus include: 
  • Procainamide 
  • Hydralazine 
  • Isoniazid 
  • Chlorpromazine
  • Anticonvulsants 

Symptoms tend to resolve on discontinuation of the drug.
